Consequences of shipping a prohibited item
There are restrictions on the carriage of goods when the latter are likely to:
- Harm the physical integrity of a person.
- Harm the environment in the event of contact or spillage during transport.
Sending prohibited goods puts you at risk of having your package blocked or destroyed by the carrier. If your package is blocked, its recovery is your responsibility.
You may be charged extra and will not be reimbursed for freight or your merchandise in the event of a dispute.
Also note that you are criminally liable for any material or bodily damage that your products may cause during shipment.
