Script tags activation

The parcel point map currently relies on a deprecated Shopify feature that requires specific activation for new stores.

In your Shopify backoffice, go to Settings > Checkout, and in the Order status page additional scripts block, click on additional scripts to enable this feature (you can specify theIssue with scripts/functions reason for example, this has no impact).

Please note that if you are using extensions that use the app blocks on the Thank You and Order Status pages, they will likely no longer work properly. Please note that this can be reversed if you notice a problem by going back to the Settings > Checkout page and clicking editor in the Order status page additional scripts block, then Publish in the block at the top left of the editor.

If you have no choice but to activate application blocs on your store, please note that you have the option to have the recipient choose the parcel point when creating a shipping order on Boxtal.

A new version of the app supporting app blocks is in preparation.

Activate the map for a shipping zone

You can activate the display of a parcel point map from the > E-shops page of your Boxtal account by modifying your Shopify shop and activating the I would like to let my clients pick their parcel point on their own order’s confirmation page option.

To activate the choice of the parcel point on a shipping zone, you must create a rate for it, specifying in parentheses at the end of its name the parcel point network that you wish to display. If the name of your method does not respect this format, the map will not be able to be displayed.

Transport offers may only be restricted to certain countries, make sure you do not offer a parcel point delivery offer for a country that is not covered.

Your customers will be able to choose the rate you determined during checkout.

The selection of the parcel point will be done on the order confirmation page after having validated the payment.
